Description
Divine Mercy Religious Painting
This almost three-dimensional textured painting symbolizes the Sacred Heart of Jesus as an expression of his total surrender and divine love for humanity, represented in turn by the Divine Mercy of God and his passion. Trust in God through Mercy will be the price we pay for our sins. This devotion was spread through the diary of Saint Faustina Kowalska, a Polish nun who would write down the conversations she had with Jesus Christ himself, explaining the symbolism of the rays that spring from her deepest entrails: - The two rays signify Blood and Water. The pale ray symbolizes the Water that justifies souls. The red ray symbolizes the blood that is the life of souls.-
