Description
Religious Painting of María de los Ángeles Guerrero González I
Portrait of the Spanish Catholic nun canonized by Saint John Paul II in 2003 and founder of the religious congregation of the Company of the Sisters of the Cross. His life was dedicated body and soul to helping the sick and the poor. She is represented dressed in the characteristic so severe habit of her Order looking directly at the viewer with her sweet countenance. She was very devoted to Santa Ana mother of mary, as well as the Sacred Heart of Jesus and his Cross for which he felt great love. That is why he had as a special reference the humble saint Francis of Assisi, among others.
